The BIM Coordinator supports the BIM Lead in managing day-to-day BIM coordination activities on the data centre construction programme, maintaining the federated model, running clash detection, and ensuring the CDE is managed in compliance with the BIM Execution Plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the BIM Lead in managing the federated model across CSA, MEPF, and ELV disciplines

  • Run clash detection in Navisworks, producing clash reports and coordinating resolution with the design and site teams

  • Maintain the CDE including model uploads, folder structures, revision management, and issue tracking

  • Review BIM submissions from subcontractors and consultants for BEP compliance

  • Participate in BIM coordination meetings, recording actions and tracking clash resolution

  • Prepare model-based visual outputs for site use including marked-up coordination drawings and 3D views

  • Support 4D BIM activities by linking model elements to the construction programme

  • Assist the Design Coordinator in managing RFIs with model-based spatial context

  • Contribute to BIM progress reports and digital delivery documentation

  • Assist in training site staff and subcontractors on CDE usage and BIM viewing tools

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (authoring/federated) and Navisworks for clash coordination

  • Working knowledge of ISO 19650 and BIM Execution Plan requirements

  • Experience managing CDE platforms (Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360, or equivalent)

  • Ability to run clash detection workflows and produce actionable clash reports

  • Familiarity with 4D simulation tools (Navisworks TimeLiner, Synchro)

  • Strong organisational skills for model management and document control

  • Good communication skills for coordinating clash resolution with multi-discipline teams

  • Understanding of construction sequencing and how BIM informs site delivery
