Construction Manager – CSA

The Construction Manager (Civil, Structural & Architectural) provides senior site leadership for all CSA works within the data centre construction programme. This role ensures that the structure, envelope, and architectural elements are delivered to the highest quality, on schedule, and in compliance with all applicable standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all CSA construction activities on site, including civils, structural steel, concrete, and architectural finishes

  • Oversee subcontractor performance, ensuring delivery in line with programme, quality, and safety standards

  • Review and approve method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and work packs for CSA scope

  • Coordinate interfaces between CSA and MEP disciplines to prevent clashes and delays

  • Conduct regular site inspections and sign off on hold points and witness points

  • Manage design queries and RFIs through the CDE, coordinating with the design team

  • Ensure all works comply with local building codes, structural specifications, and client standards

  • Prepare and present weekly progress reports, look-ahead programmes, and site status updates

  • Support procurement of CSA subcontractors and review tender submissions

  • Manage site safety compliance for CSA activities in coordination with the HSE team

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Deep technical knowledge of civil, structural, and architectural construction methods

  • Experience managing complex subcontractor packages in a multi-discipline site environment

  • Strong understanding of structural steel, reinforced concrete, and building envelope systems

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and IFC documentation

  • Familiarity with BIM/Navisworks for 3D coordination and clash review at site

  • Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001) and ITP management

  • Solid experience with RFI and design change management on large-scale projects

  • Awareness of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements for construction sites
