Infrastructure Superintendent

The Infrastructure Superintendent oversees all site infrastructure works including roads, external utilities, site drainage, security fencing, gatehouse facilities, and external services connections, ensuring coordinated and compliant delivery across the site boundary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise all external infrastructure works including site roads, hardstandings, perimeter fencing, gatehouse, and external drainage

  • Manage underground service installations including water, electrical, gas, telecoms, and fire mains within the site boundary

  • Coordinate infrastructure activities with the civils, structural, and MEP teams to ensure sequencing and interface management

  • Review and implement approved method statements and ITPs for infrastructure scope

  • Manage infrastructure subcontractor performance, attendance, and productivity on site

  • Liaise with statutory authorities and utility companies on external connections and approvals

  • Conduct quality inspections and sign off on infrastructure ITPs including compaction tests, pipe pressure tests, and road construction layers

  • Raise and track RFIs and design queries through the CDE for infrastructure scope

  • Enforce HSE standards for all infrastructure activities including traffic management and utility strike prevention

  • Maintain site records, utility drawings (as-built), and photographic progress documentation
