Quality Engineer – CSA
The Quality Engineer (CSA) supports the implementation of the Quality Management System for all civil, structural, and architectural works on the data centre construction site, conducting inspections, managing ITPs, and ensuring subcontractor quality compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and manage ITPs for all CSA activities including concrete, structural steel, masonry, and finishes
Conduct site quality inspections at hold and witness points, recording results and issuing sign-off certificates
Raise, track, and drive closure of non-conformance reports (NCRs) for CSA scope
Review subcontractor CSA method statements and quality plans
Manage material submittals and approval processes for CSA materials
Maintain quality records and documentation in the CDE
Support quality audits of CSA subcontractors and suppliers
Liaise with the structural design team on RFIs and design deviations
Contribute to punch list inspections and clearance for CSA systems
Assist the Quality Lead in preparing quality progress reports and KPI data
Required Skills & Competencies
Solid knowledge of CSA construction methods and quality inspection techniques
ITP management and inspection sign-off experience for concrete, steelwork, and architectural finishes
Familiarity with structural testing methods (cube testing, torque testing, weld inspection)
Experience raising and managing NCRs in a formal quality management environment
Proficiency with CDE platforms for document control and quality record management
Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings and specifications
Good understanding of relevant EN and ISO standards for CSA construction quality
Strong written and verbal communication for subcontractor and stakeholder engagement
