Site Manager – CSA

The Site Manager (CSA) provides day-to-day supervision and coordination of civil, structural, and architectural works on the data centre construction site, ensuring safe, quality, and programme-compliant delivery of all CSA activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily CSA site activities including subcontractor gangs, deliveries, and plant operations

  • Coordinate with the Construction Manager on programme look-aheads, resource allocation, and work sequencing

  • Conduct regular site inspections and sign off on ITPs, hold points, and quality checks

  • Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements

  • Manage site logistics, access control, and materials storage for CSA scope

  • Raise and track RFIs and design queries through the CDE

  • Monitor and enforce HSE requirements across all CSA activities

  • Maintain site diaries, progress records, and photographic documentation

  • Coordinate directly with MEP site managers to manage CSA/MEP interfaces

  • Support preparation of weekly progress reports and short-term look-ahead programmes

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Solid on-site experience in civil, structural, and architectural construction

  • Ability to read, interpret, and mark up construction drawings and IFC documentation

  • Strong ITP management and quality inspection skills

  • Practical knowledge of structural steel erection, formwork, and concrete works

  • Familiarity with BIM viewers (Navisworks, BIM 360) for site coordination

  • Good HSE knowledge and valid site safety certifications

  • Strong communication and subcontractor management skills

  • Experience with CDE platforms for document control and RFI management
