The Site Manager (ELV/ICT) supervises the installation of all extra-low voltage and ICT infrastructure on the data centre construction site, including structured cabling, security systems, CCTV, access control, and BMS/DCIM integration cabling, ensuring quality and programme compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily ELV/ICT installation activities including structured cabling, fibre, CCTV, access control, PA/VA, and BMS field devices

  • Coordinate with the MEPF Construction Manager on ELV/ICT programme, sequencing, and resource planning

  • Verify ELV/ICT installations against approved drawings, cabling schedules, and specifications

  • Manage ELV/ICT subcontractor performance and quality on site

  • Conduct and sign off on ITPs and cable testing witness points for ELV systems

  • Raise and track ELV/ICT RFIs and design queries through the CDE

  • Coordinate ELV/ICT, electrical, and mechanical interfaces to prevent containment clashes

  • Enforce HSE compliance for ELV installation activities

  • Maintain cable records, test results documentation, and photographic progress records

  • Support BMS/SCADA integration, DCIM cabling, and commissioning activities for ICT systems

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong experience in ELV/ICT systems installation on large construction projects

  • Knowledge of structured cabling (Cat6A, OM4/OS2 fibre), TIA-568, and ISO/IEC 11801 standards

  • Familiarity with data centre-specific ICT infrastructure including in-row cooling monitoring, DCIM sensor cabling, and PDU integration

  • Ability to read and interpret ELV schematics, rack elevations, and floor plan layouts

  • ITP and cable test management (OTDR, Fluke testing) experience

  • Knowledge of physical security systems including CCTV and access control relevant to data centres

  • Good coordination skills across electrical, mechanical, and ICT installation interfaces

  • Familiarity with BIM tools for containment routing and clash review
