Desapex is pleased to announce the joining of Porselvan R as Associate Technical Director – Structural Engineering, strengthening the company’s growing capabilities in integrated design, BIM-led engineering, and digital construction delivery.

With over 12 years of industry experience spanning structural design, project management, BIM coordination, and construction execution, Porselvan brings a strong blend of technical depth, leadership, and practical project delivery expertise to the Desapex engineering team.

Throughout his career, he has worked across commercial, residential, industrial, hospital, government, and infrastructure projects, contributing to the successful delivery of hundreds of projects across India and GCC regions. His expertise includes the design and analysis of both RCC and steel structures, advanced BIM integration, project coordination, and multidisciplinary engineering collaboration.

At Desapex, Porselvan will play a key role in strengthening the company’s structural engineering practice by supporting:

• Advanced structural design and engineering workflows

• BIM-enabled coordination and integrated project delivery

• Steel and RCC structural analysis and detailing

• Digital construction and design optimization

• Multidisciplinary collaboration across architecture, MEP, and infrastructure teams

His hands-on expertise in tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, Tekla Structures, Navisworks, and Primavera aligns strongly with Desapex’s technology-driven engineering ecosystem.

Before joining Desapex, Porselvan served in senior structural engineering roles across multiple organizations, where he led teams, managed project execution, and delivered technically optimized solutions for large-scale developments. He has also contributed extensively to research and innovation in structural engineering, with multiple published journals focusing on sustainable concrete technologies, self-healing concrete systems, and advanced material research.

In addition to his project experience, Porselvan has been actively involved in technical training, industry seminars, and academic guest lectures at reputed engineering institutions, reflecting his passion for knowledge sharing and engineering excellence.

His appointment marks another important step in Desapex’s vision of building a future-ready engineering organization that combines deep domain expertise with advanced digital technologies to deliver smarter, more sustainable, and highly coordinated project outcomes.
