Desapex Welcomes Vishnu S as Associate Technical Director – Fire & Life Safety

Desapex is pleased to announce the addition of Vishnu S to its leadership team as Associate Technical Director – Fire & Life Safety. With over 12 years of experience in fire protection engineering, design, and MEPF coordination, Vishnu brings a strong blend of technical depth and on-ground execution expertise that aligns with Desapex’s vision of delivering intelligent and integrated project solutions.

Vishnu’s professional journey reflects consistent growth across leading engineering and consultancy firms. Most recently, he served as an Associate Principal Engineer – Fire & Life Safety, following his role as Manager – MEP Coordinator & FLS, where he played a key role in managing multidisciplinary coordination and ensuring seamless project delivery . His earlier experience as a Senior Design Engineer and Design Engineer laid a strong foundation in fire protection systems, enabling him to develop a comprehensive understanding of both design and execution stages.

Over the years, Vishnu has built deep expertise in Fire & Life Safety system design, including sprinkler and hydrant systems, fire alarm and public address systems, and pump sizing with design calculations. His work is consistently aligned with National Building Code (NBC) and NFPA standards, ensuring compliance while maintaining practical feasibility across projects. He has also been extensively involved in preparing BOQs, BOMs, shop drawings, GFC drawings, and as-built documentation, along with attending site meetings and coordinating with clients, consultants, and PMCs.

What truly sets Vishnu apart is his ability to bridge design intent with real-world implementation. His experience spans a wide range of building types from residential and commercial developments to institutional, industrial, and storage facilities bringing versatility and adaptability to complex project environments .

Throughout his career, Vishnu has been involved in delivering fire and life safety solutions for diverse project typologies, including residential, commercial, industrial, and international developments. This experience has enabled him to align design strategies with global standards and project-specific requirements.
