Solution Architect (ACC, Integrations & Digital Engineering)

Role Overview

Desapex is looking for a Solution Architect with strong experience in designing integration architectures around Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and related digital engineering systems. The architect will define scalable technical solutions that connect ACC with ERP, procurement, scheduling, cost, and FM systems, using platforms such as ACC Connect, Autodesk Platform Services (APS/Forge), and REST APIs.

Key Responsibilities (High-Level)

• Define overall solution architecture for ACC-based digital engineering workflows.

• Design and govern integrations between ACC and external systems such as:

• ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/others)

• Procurement platforms

• Scheduling tools (Primavera P6/MSP)

• FM/CMMS systems

• Create high-level and low-level designs (HLD/LLD), data models, mapping structures, and API specifications.

• Utilize ACC Connect and APS to design scalable integration patterns and automation frameworks.

• Establish technical standards, naming schemas, metadata structures, and data governance rules.

• Review all technical implementations and ensure alignment with architectural guidelines.

• Collaborate with BIM SMEs, developers, and digital engineering stakeholders to ensure seamless technology adoption.

• Provide technical leadership during configuration, testing, and deployment.

Required Competencies

• Strong understanding of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) modules and data structures.

• Hands-on experience with ACC Connect, APS (Forge) APIs, and modern integration frameworks.

• Deep technical knowledge in REST APIs, cloud architectures, data flows, webhooks, and automation pipelines.

• Familiarity with enterprise systems such as ERP, procurement, scheduling, cost management, and FM tools.

• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Excellent communication, documentation, and architecture governance skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in construction tech, BIM, or real estate digital systems.

• Knowledge of industry standards such as IFC, metadata schemas, model-based data flows.
